Product Lister – Online Sales Team
Job Title: Product Lister
Job Location: Obins Street Premises, Portadown
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly, Full Time
Rate of Pay: £11.25 gross per hour, with OTE Bonus structure.
Contract Term: 1 month probationary period, prior to a 6 month contract, full time permanent thereafter.
Key Tasks:
Photography and image processing of various products for online sale.
Writing of product information and descriptions for sales purposes.
Stock handling in a studio and warehouse environment.
Description of Primary Role:
The successful applicant will join our growing team within our online retail business based in Portadown. Working predominantly within our used clothing department, the role will involve the preparation and display of clothing for advertising photography, creation of quality photographic images that best promote the stock for sale. Within reasonable time constraints, the Product Lister is required to accurately write descriptions of the garments to aid the customers purchasing decision and complete the submission of a sales listing template to the various selling channels used by the company. Once completed, the Product Lister is responsible for listed stock entering the warehouse in the correct manner.
The applicant will have an eye for detail while working at speed, a working knowledge of clothing brands, sizing, styles and colours, and be able to consistently achieve daily, weekly and monthly volume-based targets.
There is opportunity for a portion of the work to be carried out remotely. Work from home and flexible working hours by negotiation.
Key Skills Required:
Manual handling – Dexterity capable of careful treatment of delicate garments, dressing of mannequins, folding and hanging of garments. Movement and opening of large stock parcels. Safe movement (pushing) of full garment rails.
Visual Creativity – Ability to visually merchandise stock with neatness and flair, Ability to read and understand clothing labels, ability to visually identify cloth and material types, ability to identify complimentary colours and combinations of garments.
Keyboard & Computer Use – Ability to capture, edit and upload digital images. Ability to operate the ‘backroom’ systems of the various selling channels such as eBay and Vinted etc, Accurate and eloquent use of language in the writing of descriptions and product information sections.

Payment
We pay monthly in arrears, on the 28thof each month or the next applicable working day. Payment is by bank transfer. We require all employees to work a lying week, payable at the end of their contracted period. Payment is made for all hours worked in the span 22nd-21stof each month.
Following the defined probationary period a volume based target bonus will become payable.
Working Days & Holidays
We operate a 48-week year, closing 2 weeks in December and 2 weeks in July, in addition to closing all statutory holidays. We work Monday to Saturday. Employees are not required to work on Sundays. Employees with arrangements to work remotely are prohibited from working on a Sunday.
