Hi! Nice to meet you!

If you said twice as big, I suggest you keep reading...

Vertrical is an international custom development partner for digital health pioneers with a 100% remote setup. We design and build web & mobile solutions for digital health and pharma scale-ups and enterprises. So we combine health and technology throughout the world, which is pretty cool, right?

If that sounds fun to you, scroll down ️

Your role

As our Product Lead, you will be working with clients and internal stakeholders in order to build a new cloud-native Digital Health product. You will take the responsibility for the overall vision and direction of the product and make sure that the clients wishes and needs are satisfied.

Being an excellent communicator, you ensure mutual understanding between the client stakeholders and our engineering teams and also establish a clear common product vision. Additionally, you identify and communicate roadblocks and risks and update our management team about the project status.

Collaboration is key in this role as you will be working closely with various departments including engineering, QA, design teams and our product people. You will own the job at hand, this position will require ownership of the product roadmap and making sure it harmonizes well.

As for your technical and organizational skills, they won't be neglected either. Translating requirements to technical tasks along with arranging meetings with client stakeholders will also be part of your daily doing.

Oh, and before I forget: You will also develop, maintain and prioritize a product backlog.

Here comes the thrilling part

  • Digital Health is an exciting and growing industry. You will be part of it, and even better, by supporting us building patient-centric applications. You will also be a part of improving women's health tremendously!
  • You will be working with multiple cross-functional teams building and extending a Digital Health platform and client integration solution from scratch. The teams consist of full-stack engineers, tech leads, DevOps and QA engineers - professional and empathic people from different countries in different time zones, who all bring in unique ideas and perspectives for the best possible product.
  • Your salary will be between 56-66k GBP per year, depending on your experience.
  • Together, we'll strike a balance between platform and integration work: We're building a SaaS platform as our product and at the same time integrate the platform for clients.

  • We want you to be able to perform at your best. That's why we give you lots of room to realize your own potential. We are open to creative ideas, implementing best practice's, changing processes, and tools in order to make things work.

  • You will work in a flexible remote-setup. Work-life-balance is important to us and we believe you know best when you are most productive.

Our wishes

We hope we already made clear what kind of person we are looking for and what we have to offer. Here's a quick summary of our expectations and if you think you meet a lot of them and you are super keen to work in the digital-health industry, please send us your application:

  • You have product knowledge in a software company, ideally in the digital
health sector.
  • You speak tech. Your role will require you to translate requirements
to technical tasks and to have a deep understanding of what the engineers want.
  • You're a great communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Mentoring and training junior product people should be a natural thing for you as well as guiding and supporting more senior people.
  • Ideally, you have a good understanding of an end-to-end customer experience, and you are familiar with web development, interface design concepts and testing concepts.

  • The dynamic environment of an international Start-up suits you and you know how to build your own structures
  • Remote work is comfortable for you, you're self-organized, reflective, and ask for help proactively when you need it

  • If you have heard about HIPPA-compliance or are even certified, that would be awesome.

We know no one can tick all the boxes. It is really important though that this role will be representing Vertrical in front of our clients and managing expectations and project deadlines. Fluent business English and professionalism will be a must.
