Lindus Health is looking for our first full-time Product Designer to build the platform powering the next generation of clinical trials. Join a small product team, establish a design function and grow your skills as we scale our products to manage complex trials and bring new treatments to patients faster!
About us
Clinical trials are in crisis. The industry hasn't changed in 30 years, and the cost of bringing new medicines to market is skyrocketing as a result.
Lindus Health is on a mission to fix this. We accelerate clinical trials, so patients can benefit. We’re building the world’s first full stack clinical trial platform, to conduct faster, safer clinical trials on behalf of companies developing new treatments, and lowering the barriers to participation for patients.
Since launching the company in March 2021 we have helped find over 6,000 patients for 40 clinical trials in areas like type 2 diabetes, covid-19 diagnostics and mental health, and closed a $5m seed round.
About you
Our wish list for this role looks something like this:
- You have 2+ years of experience as a designer collaborating in a team on digital products.
- You want to be the first designer in a fast-moving startup where you have ownership, autonomy and opportunities to grow in all areas that interest you.
- You are product-minded: you want to understand why we are building something to figure out the best how in collaboration with product managers, engineers and users.
- Nice to have: You have some experience working on digital products in healthcare.
You belong here! If your experience and interests match with some of the above, we want you to apply.
What you will do
- Own the product design for our flagship product Citrus, making it the best tool to run effective clinical trials.
- Tackle questions such as: How do we keep participants motivated to stay in an ongoing trial? How do we ensure that clinical staff report accurate trial data?
- Create mock-ups, functional prototypes, UI designs and interaction flows for Citrus in close collaboration with our product team (currently 1 product manager, 4 engineers).
- Take part in product and UX research through prototyping, user interviews and user testing.
- Support the product team with design and UX advice as they are iterating on new and existing features.
What we offer
- Be our first designer, get to shape our design function and grow with the rest of the company
- Competitive salary, plus generous stock options
- Unlimited holidays; everyone is encouraged to take off at least 28 days each year
- Flexible office arrangement; you are encouraged to work 3-4 days per week in our office in London (near London Bridge) when you start, but you are free work flexibly once you've had a chance to get to know everyone
- Regular team events; recently we've been to Legoland, a Bake Off competition, and a Millwall FC home game (decided by popular vote)
- Up to £1,000 per year towards courses and development
- A new laptop as your main workstation and up to £500 towards setting up your home office
- Employee benefits program including free Netflix and Spotify
- UK visa sponsorship if you’re not already eligible to work in the UK

Ahead of this we will give you two options: Either share with us a project you’ve worked on in the past (e.g., in the form of mockups, screenshots or prototypes), or complete a small design exercise based on instructions we’ll give you (max 2 hours of effort).
