We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Designer to join our expanding team, working to design cutting edge POS and Retail Display products and concepts.

The Role
We are looking for someone with a passion and flair for designing products that will go above and beyond both industry and customer expectations. You will be a vital part of our innovation team, exploring new ideas and “ways of doing things” to expand our current portfolio. You will be involved in all manner of design, working to project deadlines, providing clarity to other teams, and supporting the Product Design Lead with allocated project work. You will have the freedom to be creative, contribute both collaboratively and individually to deliver some incredible solutions.
Product testing will play an essential part in ensuring the quality delivery of your designs and conducting store visits to our key retailers helps to gain a better understanding of requirements and test out new products. You will be tasked with creating CAD models, engineering drawings and presentations for visual purposes and also creating or obtaining prototypes for testing and client demonstrations.
The Person
We are ideally looking for someone with experience working in Product Design, or similar however this is preferable and not essential to the role. A degree or equivalent in Product / Industrial Design is essential and you will need the confidence and initiative to bring forward your ideas and solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
You will also need excellent teamworking skills, a collaborative mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to react and adapt flexibly to changes in project requirements. High proficiency in CAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and keyshot is sought after along with the ability to organise and project manage your own workload.

Working Pattern
The Role is Full Time (39.5 hrs per week )
Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday, 8.00am to 4:30pm
The Company operates Quality and Environmental Management Systems that has BS EN ISO9001:2015 (QMS) and BS EN ISO14001:2015 (EMS) Certification including aspects specific to the supply of components and equipment to the Retail Industry.
All personnel are to understand the requirements of Harrison Quality and Environmental Management Systems and encouraged to abide with Harrison Policies, Memberships and Certifications as issued from time to time and updated via the company intranet.
