Purpose of Position:
Support the design, development and detailing of exhaust system products, primarily for the outdoor power products industry.
Responsibilities:
- Development of solid 3D assembly models for exhaust system designs using Creo 7.0.
- Create detail drawings of assemblies and components.
- Implement GD&T on drawings.
- Development of BOMs for prototype, production and quotation activities.
- Support design review activities.
- Support the document control process for drawing release and change procedures.
- Support cross functional team in the development of continuous improvement activities of existing products within the organization.
- Communication & coordination with other departments as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Design
- 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design
- 2 years of experience with Creo/Pro-E
- Understanding of Family Tables and FEA desired.
- Understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing desired.
- Understanding of welding and metal forming processes desired.
