An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Product Delivery team within British Airways’ Global Revenue. From actively supporting the launch of brand-new commercial products to protecting commercial interest on the day of departure, this role really has it all. The role spans across two main areas of our organisation – Product Support and Commercial Operations:
Our product support team maintains and develops our commercial selling and support systems. Within this role, you will be a true key-enabler exploring system capabilities to make sure our fare products are shown, distributed and sold to the right channel at the right time. In addition, you'll work with a wider range of other systems such as, codeshare tools and customer messaging.
Our commercial operations team is the face of commercial, tasked with protecting our commercial and customers’ interest inside the operational window. Working in this dynamic team will see you deal with a variety of operational stakeholders, constantly on the look-out to optimise revenue, creatively tackle operational issues and represent commercial in disruption. No day will ever be the same.
Working hours: Product Support work regular business hours, Monday to Friday / Commercial Operations team work shifts, with a 6-on-3-off pattern.
The team will work with you to understand which area best fits your skill set, interest and personal needs. Over the longer term, colleagues have the opportunity to be rotated between the two areas, in order to further develop their skills and capabilities and experience different parts of the business.
In total, we are looking to recruit two (2) additional colleagues for the Commercial Operations Team and one (1) additional colleague for the Product Support Team. Please indicate which of the two teams will have your preference, when applying.
