The Role
We're looking for a Product Delivery Manager with excellent capabilities within project management and project
planning, with the ability to identify any issues before they become roadblocks. The Product Delivery Manager will
drive forward with urgency and enable multiple teams of DevOps, Security and Data Engineers to work more
efficiently. A champion of making the product and engineering teams more effective with a keen eye for improving
ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- From Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, Lean) to Waterfall, you'll assess and choose the best and most pragmatic
- Champion a culture of customer-orientated, data-driven design through the product process
- Ensure product is resourced and structured to deliver most effectively against top priorities as well as
- Map progress for key initiatives, roadmaps, cross-functional production plans, KPIs, and burndowns.
- Be the first line of defence against feature creep
- Implement a roadmap with deep visibility for at least the next two quarters, including engineering tickets
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of engineering initiatives within the team, ensure we can measure the
- Act as a knowledge broker, resolve blockers and manage dependencies between teams
- Identify bottlenecks before they happen and work with stakeholders to resolve them ahead of time
- Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to create and prioritise backlog, epics,
and objectives.
- Work within the product, infrastructure, security, data and engineering groups to manage any large scale
- Engaging and building relationships with key stakeholders and teams
- 3+ years in project/programme management
- 3+ years working within a modern product management environment (agile, scrum, etc.)
- Directed multi-disciplined teams, including business analysts, solution architects, devops engineers,
- An expert with JIRA and other such technologies
- An open communicator, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical
