We are the largest bridal manufacturer in the UK – a family-run business producing jewellery in-house for over 40 years with an extensive company portfolio, our specialty being wedding and engagement rings. We are recruiting for a Product Coordinator/Developer to join our team, an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to own the product lifecycle, enhancing our collection in line with the product strategy, demonstrating strong industry knowledge with exceptional communication skills, who is capable of multiple tasking and has excellent excel skills.
To summarise the role, the candidate will be responsible for;
- Conduct competitor analysis, interpreting market needs and trends
- Analyse sell-in data across collections
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Director/Sales team to identify and design new collections
- Own the product development plan from concept to launch
- Stock management
- Quality control
- Responsible for raw material sourcing and liaising with suppliers, ensuring deadlines are met to avoid delays in production
- Prepare and manage the master product file and communicate effectively with internal departments
- Ensure all product specifications are accurate, working closely with IT to ensure the customer portal is up to date
- Sample management before and after launch
An ideal applicant will have the relevant industry experience and be organised with a determination to ensure our product is reflective of our brand.
This is an office-based role and you must be able to commute daily to E8. Our office hours are 8 am - 5 pm.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the product lifecycle process
- Previous experience of working in a jewellery manufacturing environment
- Diamond and Gemstone knowledge
- Understanding of CAD design
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player with a “Can do” attitude
- Advanced Excel skills
