Product Control Manager
London
As Barclays Product Control Manager, you will take full ownership of IPV cycle for FX and some risk products including FX Vol, FX correlation, Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Cross Currency Swaps, STIRTS. This is an exciting opportunity where you will also lead improvement and optimization of the IPV and FVA processes and perform projects across the Macro team related to model changes, regulatory reporting, and market developments.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. • Verifying price for various cash and derivative products
- Oversighting of various fair value adjustments when required
- Taking ownership of the month end valuation production cycle
- Generating of IPV variances, valuation uncertainty, reserves
- Analyzing and commenting of results
- Escalating of valuation issues and fixing them
- Reporting IPV results to finance management, trading desks and external stakeholders by producing monthly reporting pack and communication
- Working and supporting peers across PC-Valuation team to help establish best practice guidelines and ensure these guidelines are well-communicated and adhered to
What we’re looking for:
- Significant Experience in Valuations or IPV with rates
- Experience in FX products and a financial engineering
- Finance degree
Skills that will help you in the role
• Quant background and understanding in model validation
- Advanced qualification (CFA, FRM, etc)
- Significant experience in Python coding
