POSITION DESCRIPTION

At Saint-Gobain Digital, we are looking for a Product Analyst (IT Services) to work with us on a hybrid basis out of any of our UK hubs, including East Leake, Elland, Coventry and Tadley.
This person will be a part of our enthusiastic IT Services team who are a major part of our ongoing digital transformation and are proud to work for our us. In this exciting role, you will be reporting to the IT Services Product Owner. This is a newly created role where you will take ownership for completing business analysis to define the end to end requirements for digital and IT solutions.
What you will do:
- Provide key inputs for the Product Owner to assess options and select an approach to achieving the epic goals
- Work with stakeholders to define backlog items
- Define, analyse and document specific requirements
- Identify the “as-is” situation and create problem statements for the current status
- Work with contributors to define the to-be status
- Lead the gathering of requirements for new functionality
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential technical solutions and contribute to the creation of epics and user stories to implement those solutions
- Ensure backlog items have sufficient detail to accurately judge requirements
- Own the analysis and documentation of business requirements
- Validate documented requirements with all stakeholders
Work with operational and delivery teams throughout the sprint cycles
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for:
- Experience and understanding of operating using scrum, Kanban and agile methodologies
- A strong communicator and good listener that can translate conversations into structured documents
- Experience in user journey mapping and user story creation
- Experience in DevOps environment is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
- A can-do attitude and a team-player
- Knowledge & understanding of Jira
