The Product Analyst will play a key role in supporting the product team in executing our product vision.
The Product Analyst should demonstrate strong attention to detail, be an analytical thinker, have excellent time management skills, be highly proficient in project management, able to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, rationalize data and provide practical recommendations.
The ideal candidate has experience identifying and analyzing relevant industry trends, new product enhancements opportunities and competitor landscapes to make recommendations that inform business decisions and supports product marketing activities through data gathering, analysis and providing actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the effective management and delivery of one or more processes, solutions and/or projects, ensuring a focus on quality and effective risk management.- Responsible for continuous process improvement, the identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis, insight and experience of best practices
- Applies experience and performs research to gather insights used to guide others and interprets internal / external issues to recommend quality solutions.
- Responsible for creating methodologies and techniques to measure the quality of the outcomes, to determine compliance with defined levels and standards.
- Defines and applies quality levels and standards in deliverables, working proactively with business to deeply understand the needs and expectations of users.
- Acquisition of data from heterogenous sources, not always immediately available through proactively collaborating with colleagues and clients to support them in understanding requirements for gathering data by interacting with different departments (HR, IT, Learning and Development)
- Independently research data sources (publicly available and possibly commercial sources where needed) to obtain, manipulate and analyze data
- Define repeatable governance processes and procedures to perform data review and quality control activities in defined timeframes (e.g. quarterly).
- Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)
Technical knowledge, skills and experience
Organization and workforce transformation domain knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: skills benchmarking, skills/ capability frameworks, assessment methods, learning/ skills pathways, skills gap analysis, workforce / talent strategy, workforce planning, organizational development; SAAS solutions for learning and talent management- Stakeholder management: Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and needs by aligning those with the requirements and objectives of the product. This includes the ability to set quality and service standards, provide appropriate and effective communications, maintain continuous levels of engagement, negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
- Data delivery and management: Knowledge of and ability to securely transfer, triage, transform, enrich, reconcile and load data using technologies from third parties or built-in applications (such as Alteryx, SharePoint, .Net and Excel) to successfully deliver products, services and other outcomes to internal or external customers.
- Data analysis and interpretation: Knowledge of and ability to understand business requirements. Ability to extract, standardize and aggregate data. Ability to analyze, interpret, extract and deploy insights, to help organizations make informed decisions and / or to manage product performance and identify factors influencing product development, performance and trends, etc.
- Data visualization: Knowledge of visualization tools. Ability to create and deploy dynamic visual displays with illustrative and interactive graphics to present patterns, trends, new concepts and analytical insights from data, in a strategic manner, for the intended audience.
- Technology business requirements definition and analysis: Knowledge of the tools, methods, and techniques used in requirements analysis. Ability to uncover customer needs and challenges, identify quality requirements, and identify and scope business requirements and priorities in relation to new or existing products, services, solutions, systems and / or networks. Ability to identify gaps and opportunities for potential solutions and to evaluate the impact of solutions against requirements.
- Knowledge of Customers Market: Knowledge of customers, the markets in which they operate and the products used in that market. Ability to analyze customer market activities, tools, profiles and information.
- Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, user guides, training materials, applications, etc.)
