- Setup of Structured Deals, Exchange Products and Curves across all commodities.
- Engage with Trading desks, Originators and Support teams (Product Control, Market Risk, Treasury, Contract & Settlements and IT) across deal life cycle.
- Provide SME domain knowledge support across the portfolio of projects on demand basis.
- Understand the business processes for Energy commodities and complex nonlinear commodity products.
- Assist with rolling out the Derivative system to additional users and trading desks.
- Help Quality Assurance with identification of reasons for valuation differences identified during regression testing process.
- Assist with User Acceptance testing of new functionality.
- Propose improvements around systems to streamline processes and enhance operational control.
- Finance/IT graduate with some experience as Business Analyst or Support Function in the field of Finance.
- Front office experience in an energy/commodity trading organization or investment bank beneficial.
- Mathematically minded with knowledge of both linear and non-linear/derivative products.
- Familiar with option pricing and risk management concepts.
- Familiarity with Exchange and OTC Products across multiple commodities preferably Energy.
- Intermediate level SQL skills to be able to query databases to investigate trade, market data and valuation issues.
- Proficient in use of Excel with advanced features for data analysis.
- Experience of Project Management, Business Process Modelling and Documentation tools beneficial.
- Ability to work directly with traders, originators, quants, IT development and business support teams.
- Highly motivated and proactive individual able to handle multiple tasks.
- Takes ownership and facilitates resolution of issues while managing expectations.
- Attentive to detail and strong focus on accuracy of information.
- Keen learner and interest in business domain.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
