The Procurement team are undertaking a multi-year transformation focused on creating a platform to drive significant incremental value through the creation of an operating model with the capability to maximise the potential of this supplier ecosystem via connection & delivery of the right external expertise to meet the future demands of Santander and in turn, to drive best value, whilst complying with regulation and Santander risk appetite.
The Procurement Operations Analyst will support the delivery of a robust procurement framework to our stakeholders and work collaboratively with our captive execution partner, Aquanima, to ensure complementary activities across both areas resulting in increasing procurement maturity and business value.

Ensuring detailed tracking and monitoring regime is in place to allow effective management oversight of the business cost and expense landscape
Providing user support and training with systems and processes involved in the utilisation of cost budget
Owning the stakeholder management to embed new ways of working particularly in relation to the end-to-end Procurement activities
Acting as a central point of escalation for procurement-related service delivery issues
Ensuring availability and continuous improvement of appropriate toolkits
Understanding in depth the end to end cost process and assisting the user by guiding them through requirements to achieve the most efficient end to end journey

Ability to communicate to stakeholders
Procurement/ financial services background
It would also be nice for you to have.
Ability to interpret and evaluate information
Ability to manage multiple, conflicting interests and deadlines
Experience or good knowledge in SAP and Ariba
Experience using in Service now
What else you need to know.
This is a 1 year full time contract role offering hybrid working model which will require you to attend office 2 days a week.
