About The Role
Your knowledge, communication and influence skills, will be respected by managers across the organisation at all levels.
You will provide guidance and support on a wide range of procurement and contract issues. You will run tenders for goods and services ensuring compliance with council and legislative requirements. You will support the very best services and goods being purchased with value for money and consideration of social value and climate change. You will see your work making a difference for people in Gloucestershire.
About You
You could be someone with procurement or commissioning skills and experience. You could have a contract management or maybe even a legal background, within local government or the public sector.
You will ideally have knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures and systems as well as relevant legislation and regulations. Highly organised and analytical, with good IT skills, you’ll be ready to meet demanding targets, timescales and budgets. You also have good communication and negotiating skills.
