What's the assessment process?
Once you've hit the apply button, we will select suitable candidates to progress to an assessment process that will include the completion of a number of on line assessment tools. We'll invite you to complete an online video interview so that we have a chance to get to know you. You will also be invited to join an interview with members of the senior management team to provide an insight into the programme and to gain a better understanding of your career ambitions.
Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre and will join us in September 2023.
Where will I be based?
Your host site will be at Blackburn. You will have the opportunity to visit other sites within our Berry Global network during the programme. Flexibility will be required as placements will be in non-host sites.
What will I be involved in over the programme?
Over the duration of the programme, you will participate in workshops, lead projects as well as having day-to-day activities at the site at which you are based/placed.
You will also be:
- Coordinating cross divisional tenders on transportation for the UK (and potentially for other countries)
- Collecting aata from the plants
- Analysing the data and setting a strategy (looking for quick wins)
What is the duration of the programme?
Workshops will be delivered over an 18 month period and we will discuss permanent opportunities available during the latter part of the programme.

Applicants will be required to have the permanent legal entitlement to work in the UK. Successful applicants must have excellent English language skills (written and oral).
The programme aim is achieved through a combination of face to face and virtual workshops alongside placements of up to six months at one of our many global sites, project work and general and specialist training.
A mentor will be assigned to you. This is someone outside of your team who will be able to support you in your personal and professional development.
