We’re looking for a Procurement Apprentice to join our procurement team based in Rushden. Within this role, you can enjoy agile working, discounts at high-street brands, gaining a recognised qualification and even more.
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Responsibilities
As a Procurement Apprentice, you’ll be working within the procurement team, supporting them in delivering a first-class service to employees and managers across Kier.
Your day to day will include:
- Responsible for the provision of the quality procurement service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Providing, after guidance and training, comprehensive and efficient purchasing services to undertake tenders to secure competitive pricing
- Spending time with both our category management and buying teams to develop and strengthen your skills
Alongside your role you will study for a Level 4 Commercial Procurement and Supply qualification with guidance from our experienced teams. Upon completion of the course, you’ll be eligible for membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. A fantastic way to begin your career as a procurement professional.
