A well-known Poole brand require an IT & Technology Procurement Manager. Applicants need strategic procurement experience within IT Category space. Generalist indirect procurement professionals, with strong IT exposure will also be considered.

The IT & Technology Procurement Manager will serve as a Senior Category Manager within the organisation and report to the Head of Procurement. Now is an exciting time within the IT space for the organisation as they embark on a large digital transformation. The role has 1 direct report.

Specific duties of the IT & Technology Procurement Manager include:

• Oversee all IT and technology spend within the organisation
• Develop IT and Technology procurement and sourcing strategies
• Foster excellent relationships with technical stakeholders within the IT function
• SRM and contract management activities related to vendors within the IT and technology space
• Contribute to overall category management approach of the organisation in collaboration with Head of Procurement

IT & Technology Procurement Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Previous sourcing, category management or procurement experience within the IT and technology space
• Experience of interacting with an IT or technical stakeholder community
• The ability to develop and implement procurement strategy
• Gravitas and influencing skills
