Procurement Manager:
Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for supervising a team of procurement professionals and Logistics staff. Optimizing inventory flow, accuracy, timely delivery and turns. Responsible for the Procure to Pay Cycle. Skilled in Procurement, Inventory Management, Product Launch & Sourcing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Timely Requisition to Purchase Order Conversion
· Managing Purchase Orders (Pos), Acknowledgement %, Dates Alignment % & PO fulfillment
· Supplier On Time to Receipt, Past due, Expedites & Shortages
· Forecast communication to suppliers.
· Optimize inventory and supply chain to maintain customer satisfaction while improving turns and reducing inventory.
· Over-max, Reschedules & Inventory Control Management
· Invoices, Return To Vendor & Chargeback
· Drive Supplier Quality (Non-Conformance Report close out)
· Purchasing Data Management (Lead Time, Minimum Order Qty, Vendor Management)
· Evaluate new supplier sources.
· Develop existing suppliers & conducting supplier audits.
· Negotiates and maintains supplier long term agreements and contracts.
· Prepares and maintains budget, looks for cost reduction opportunities.
· Responsible to hire and support training of new Procurement Agents
· Ensure company objectives they support are being met, report out procurement Key Performance Indicators and Initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies. They also provide support related to Supply Chain meetings with Customers.
· Implement appropriate buying and Work Center strategies to sustain and enable growth (cycle time / Vendor Managed Inventory / consignment, etc.)
· Understand / Track / Mitigate supplier capacity risks to enable business growth opportunities (Supplier Rate Readiness)

- Supply Chain Management Professional degree required.
- Expertise with Master Production Schedule related systems, advanced inventory control techniques required.
- 8 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 plus years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles and processes for material management improvement would be an asset.
- Ability to effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate staff to ensure growth in their scope of responsibility and accountability for operational excellence.
- Ability to lead change and utilize operational metrics/key indicators for process control, communication, and performance improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a global environment.
- Proven Computer skills: Microsoft suite of applications

Salary: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
