Senior Mortgage Loan Processor
Our Senior Mortgage Loan Processor processes FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional and Portfolio mortgage loans by performing the following duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following, although other duties may be assigned:
Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
Works with the client to gather financial information.
Orders property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files.
Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the underwriting department for a credit decision by analyzing income and debts.
Act as a liaison between the client, loan officers, real estate agents, and underwriters.
Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies.
Submits approved mortgage loan file to Loan Closer for settlement.
General work hours will be 88:15 - 5:00 CST.
Although this is a remote-work position, candidates should be located near and prepared to travel to one of our Mortgage sites in Overland Park, KS; Lincoln or Omaha, NE; or our Four Seasons location in Chesterfield, MO as required.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of two (2) plus years' related work experience and/or training required
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a financial or banking mortgage department is a plus
- A minimum of three (3) plus years working with and/or comprehensive knowledge in conforming & non-conforming loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Guidelines, and any government and/or conventional, FHA or VA loans required
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows based environment required; mortgage-processing software a plus
- Detail oriented, minimal supervision, with excellent communication and analytical skills strongly preferred
- Although this is a remote-work position, applicants from the Midwest in areas/states surrounding the St. Louis market, ideal
- Multi-lingual, a plus
