Job title: Process Quality Analyst

Location: Peterborough, UK (PE2)

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Work pattern: Continental shift based rota (06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00)

Salary: £42,500.00

Start date: ASAP

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to hire 5 Process Quality Analysts. The position reports directly to the Quality Manager and is based in our new site in Peterborough, UK. We welcome applications from self-motivated individuals that thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates would be working on a continuous shift pattern. This is an incredible opportunity to join Crown in a brand-new role and become one of the ‘first feet on the ground’ for the new Plant.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidates will ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification, and will ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a quality finished product to the customer. You will identify high-risk activities, events and trends, working through pro-actively with the manufacturing team and on his/her own initiative based on data and information. You will provide a central point of reference with regard to customer or plant related ongoing quality issues. You work flexibly in any work area as far as safety and capability allow.

The Ideal Candidate

About you
Applications are invited from qualified engineers (minimum level 2 NVQ preferred), or those with a proven quality background, who will be enthusiastic, hard-working, flexible, committed to quality, to safety and to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. Preferably candidates will have experience of working in a high speed production environment. Applicants should have ideally in-depth knowledge of ISO Systems, SPC, HACCP & Continuous Improvement Techniques. Good interpersonal and problem solving skills are essential, as well as a proven ability of working within a team environment. Food safety qualifications and/or experience would also be beneficial. Comprehensive training will be given to the successful candidates

Package Description

• continental based shift rota
• 2 x 12-hour day shifts (06:00 - 18:00) followed by 2 x 12-hour night shifts (18:00 - 06:00)
• followed by 4 days off
• after a pattern of five of these shifts you will have 14 days off
• this equates to 144 shifts per year
• we will also give you 18 days off in the summer (dates to be discussed with your line-manager)
