A well-established membrane manufacturing company based in Norfolk is looking for a Process Operator to join its production team.
The Company:
PIL Membranes design, manufacture and test unique polymer membranes for the clothing, electronic, military, and medical markets. They specialise in water vapour transmission products with a range of applications such as leather effect membranes for children’s school shoes; technical and industrial clothing (including anti-static, viral barrier, fire- and chemical-retardant garments); and sports and leisure footwear and apparel.
The Role:
Part of a team producing membranes on a purpose-built automated production line. Assisting the STM with the day-to-day operation of the plant to ensure product quality, maximise efficiency and ensure customer orders are delivered on time.
Responsibilities of a successful candidate:
- Plant operation and monitoring through a computer-based control system
- Product quality control testing and monitoring
- Supporting Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental procedures
- Troubleshooting and improving processes
Candidate requirements:
- Team player
- Analytical
- Computer literate
- Problem-solving skills
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,016.90-£31,869.60 per year
