We are now looking for a Process Operator for our Teesport site working on a 24/7 shift pattern. You will be responsible for the safe operation of the production plant, following operating procedures and process conditions to manufacture product to the required specification at the required rateand will also be responsible for some routine and breakdown electrical maintenance, reacting and blending solid and liquid chemicals following detailed manufacturing safety and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with finished product quality control. Taking corrective action on the plant as required, maintaining housekeeping standards, completing 5S activities and transporting chemicals and equipment by forklift truck are also the rersponsibility of the operators working on shift. This role will involve the lifting of 25kg bags. Team work is essential and you will be able to work well within a team environment and across the various shift teams and departments on site.

What you’ll bring to the team:
- An appropriate electrical or mechanical biased qualification, ideally apprentice trained with the ability to cross skills within trades and post qualification experience in an industrial (preferably chemical) environment.
- GCSE level qualifications or equivalent.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A logical approach to fault diagnosis and routine maintenance tasks.
