An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest food manufacturing companies as a Process or Wrapping Machine Operative.

We are recruiting for permanent process and wrapping operatives to support our growth in production. The right candidate will need to be fully flexible as this role will require working 12-hour shifts (06.55-19.00) on a 4 on, 4 off basis inclusive of weekend working.
As a process operative you be required to work in food preparation areas and with all the relevant training become familiar with the different areas within the factory and develop multiple skills in our processes or machine operations.
Overview of the role:
You will learn the process skills to be proficient in contributing to the end product of our irresistible biscuits. Your role could be focused around mixing, dough moulding, baking, creaming or chocolate enrobing or the wrapping of the end product.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe start up, operation and shutdown of process equipment, whilst producing great quality products to our customers in a safe manner to agreed recipes.
Qualifications/ Experience
Experience in running machinery and working in a high- speed food manufacturing environment is essential for this role, although training will be given on job specifics.
Skills
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work with limited supervision after training.
Good standards of literacy and numeracy.
Requirement for heavy lifting, pushing and pulling within site manual handling limits.

We will be holding several assessment days over the coming weeks inclusive of a factory tour.
