About the Role
We are seeking a Process Training Manager to join us at our Crewe Campus- the worlds first carbon neutral Automotive site! The role reports to the Manufacturing Training Manager within our Manufacturing team. The Process Manager will lead the planning, design, implementation and measurement of training programmes to develop leaders and colleague competence throughout Manufacturing.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Training Manager within our Manufacturing team. The Process Manager will lead the planning, design, implementation and measurement of training programmes to develop leaders and colleague competence throughout Manufacturing.
- Working with the Manufacturing Training Manager to ensure alignment of Off, Near and On the Job Training Solutions including process support, fundamental skills & technical training.
- Provide coaching on lean principles and supports shop floor activities such as Gemba Walks, Problem Resolution and Performance Management.
- Ensures that all training & development activities are recorded & held to the required standard, including Process Versatility Charts, induction & training documents and personal development discussions.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Bentley’s manufacturing standards and principles are implemented & adhered to in all training activities, including updating of training material and records.
- Support the development & training of the Manufacturing Training team to ensure appropriate skills for both current & future products / processes in line with the Beyond100 strategy.
- Responsible for the planning and effective deployment of resource to meet customer and functional targets.
- Works with the Bentley Academy team to confirm alignment and sharing of skills development approaches and ensuring alignment with VW Group systems.
About the Person
The successful candidate will have previous worked within a Manufacturing/Production operations environment and have previous experience in a management role, ideally in a training capacity. This role will support delivering ‘best in class’ training, coaching and performance management to the leadership team, and, provide continuing support to colleagues development.

You will demonstrate:
- Prior experience of the designing and delivery of training solutions, to enable achievement of functional objectives.
- A relevant training qualification or the desire to complete a relevant higher qualification.
- Strong business awareness and the ability to make and influence strategic decisions.
- You will have strong communication skills, with the capability to deliver training solutions and presentations to all levels, and, have a collaborative approach to working relationships with internal and external partners.
- You will have a strong attention to detail combined with a transparent and resilient approach.
- You will be able to provide evidence of planning, project management and delivering process improvement activities.
