Job description
Currently recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer on a basis for an FPSO Operator based in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire. It is a 12-month position, and the company are open to considering both PAYE and Ltd Co ors for this role. Hybrid working opportunities will be available and there will be a requirement for offshore travel as part of this role. The Process Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of process engineering solutions, in accordance with asset priorities and schedules, through to close out. Providing engineering support to other disciplines in the execution of work within agreed timelines. Proposing, developing and maintaining discipline standards, templates and tools to improve quality and cost-effectiveness. Reporting on progress, setbacks, opportunities, risks, concerns and anomalies to the Operations Superintendent and Asset Manager. Liaising with the client, authorities and verification bodies as required. Providing assistance and advice, as required, to efficiently execute modifications and non-routine operations, including attendance at HAZOP's/HAZID's and safety reviews. Experience / Qualifications: A degree qualification in chemical/process engineering is essential. Current/valid offshore certification would be preferred. Previous experience in a similar operations-focused Process Engineer type role, directly within the North Sea oil and gas industry, is essential.
