Job description
SRG Global is seeking you to become our Molding Process Engineer in Newbern, TN!
As a Molding Process Engineer, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects of the Molding Process (ex. Tooling Trials, Coordinating Tool Changes, Mentoring Technicians) to produce quality molded parts. What You Will Do
- Maintain 5S Standards, shift scrap goals, tool change goals and OEE goals
- Complete yield improvement projects
- Participate in design review meetings on new awarded tooling and provide feedback to the corporate tooling team
- Participate in mold flow reviews and provide detailed solutions to potential processing concerns
- Participate in tooling trials on new molds
- Create processes for incoming molds
- Train, Mentor and coach all technicians on technical skills
- Approach each problem using scientific molding methodology
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience troubleshooting injection molding processing and tooling in a manufacturing environment
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working in the automotive experience
- Master Mold 1 or 2
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
