The company are a leading consultancy firm who provide consultancy services across the FMCG, Beverage, Brewery and pharmaceuticals markets. Due to continued growth they now have a key requirement for a senior level Process Engineer to join the business. They offer a very attractive salary, car allowance and benefits package.
About The Role
As a Process Engineer, you will be working on projects in the above sectors. The role offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects from conceptual stage through to detailed design, implementation and commissioning.
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
- Design of systems - P&ID's, utilisation calculations, mass & energy balances, equipment sizing calculations, pressure drop calculations, HAZOP
- Co-ordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
- Ownership of work packages through all project phases to site acceptance.
- Completion of Design Risk Assessments
- As a Senior Engineer you will deliver on agreed project objectives within budget hours and schedule.
- Interfacing with Client team.
- Ensure quality assurance and project compliance with current industry best practice and legal requirements including CDM Regulations
- Assist in the overall development of the team, including the mentoring of junior / graduate personnel
Requirements:
- Degree educated in a relevant discipline - Chemical or Process
- Background in Food, FMCG, Diary, Beverage or Brewery is essential
- Chartered status is desirable but the business does support employees who are wanting to work towards chartered status
- Consultancy background is preferred
- Principle or Senior level background required
- Flexibility in travelling to customers sites throughout the UK
