Job Highlights
The Process Engineer is primarily responsible for overseeing daily plant operations in the Intermediates, Plasticizer and Wastewater treatment areas of a specialty chemical plant. The position coordinates activities to achieve safety, quality, environmental and productivity goals while meeting company quality and cost standards.
- Daily monitoring of wastewater and boilers and direction to respective operators to maintain plant safety and productivity
- Manufacturing representative for projects and process improvements, including Management of Change
- PSM Compliance - PHA prep and facilitation, incident investigation, procedure reviews
- Process trending and reporting within and outside of department
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of process engineering experience, preferably in chemical or refining industries.
- PSM experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to improve and update existing operating procedures and write new procedures as needed for a varied audience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical engineering principles and of various unit operations and types of equipment.
- Advanced Excel skills. Experience using SAP is a plus.

- Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program. In accordance with Washington state requirements, the established pay range for this position is Min: $89,100 to Max: $148,500.
