Do you have Chemical Engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Manchester? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a full-time Process Engineer, and the role comes with a salary £44,000 to £55,000 and many exciting benefits.
You will provide process engineering support to all site operations, plant changes and minor projects. The role will entail some elements of lone working, so the successful candidate must be able to analyse, diagnose, and analyse process problems. However, they will also be frequently involved in work as part of a team.
To give you an idea of how this Process Engineer role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:
- Ensure all chemical engineering is carried out to a high standard in line with national, international, Company, and site procedures
- Develop high-quality process engineering scopes of work for modifications to all process plant and equipment
- Support of commissioning and start-up of modified plant
- Process engineering design for various multi-discipline projects
- Provide plant support for regulatory requirements such as COMAH and IPPC
The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least BEng in Chemical Engineering level, or equivalent, and have 3-10 years of industrial experience, ideally within the petrochemical, polymers or chemical engineering. The Process Engineer will also require:
- Good level of understanding of process engineering
- Sound knowledge of the industry's national and international engineering standards related to the process industries
- The ability to multi-task whilst recognising day-to-day priorities
