The Opportunity
If you have several years of proven "hands on" mechanical engineering and process improvement experience, ideally gained in the food industry, our new Projects and Improvement Engineer opportunity could be the ideal role for you.
The Projects and Improvement Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying, planning and delivering projects to improve the Engineering department whilst assisting with the maintenance of machinery in our production areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimising processes and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity and quality.
The Projects and Improvement Engineer will also oversee training and development of the Engineering team sharing the knowledge they have gained during their own engineering career.

What Key Ingredients Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in engineering AND process improvement
- Proficiency in project management
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility is essential to ensure business needs are met
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and food industry standards (preferred but not essential)
