We are currently hiring for an experienced Process Chemical Engineer that can see the big picture to manage process improvement projects, work with the production team to troubleshoot and optimize production.

As a Process Chemical Engineer, you will:
- Help develop new and redline existing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Interlock Narratives
- Assist with improvement projects, maintenance projects, and troubleshooting and startup efforts
- Support Process Hazard Analyses for new and existing processes
- Troubleshoot process, instrumentation and equipment problems to support manufacturing
- Assist with developing Process Flow Diagrams and Heat and Material Balances
- Lead various calculations for process design (i.e. relief, pump sizing, and heat transfer)
- Develop cost estimates for new and existing products and / or develop scope of work for capital projects.
- Provide field support for startup commissioning activities
- Provide field support for I/O, interlock checkout, and preventive maintenance shutdowns
- Provide on-call technical support and interact with customers and suppliers on technical issues
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Process Flow Diagram development
- Heat and Material Balance development
- Experience in Process Chemical Design
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram development (P&ID)
- Hazard Analysis experience - HAZOP, PHA, FMEA, etc.
