Who we are:
HVS design and develop hydrogen-electric vehicles for the commercial vehicle market. We work with leading technology integrators, component suppliers and vehicle prototype design houses to deliver unique solutions to de-carbonise the medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicle sector.

Role Overview:
The role of Vehicle Driver will directly report into our CEO and be responsible for driving between our West Midlands and Glasgow offices for HVS on a weekly basis, alongside additional UK requirement travel.

The role is required 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport individual/s between HVS Office locations based in Glasgow, and MIRA, Nuneaton weekly using provided vehicle. There will be a requirement to stay over night in the West Midlands every second week
• Ensure that driving routes are mapped out ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Anticipate any pickups, drop offs and ensure daily appointments are managed effectively. Including but not limited to personal appointments, airport drop offs, out of office meetings
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company
• To keep the vehicle in a roadworthy, clean, and tidy manner always. Including scheduling services, MOTs and valet appointments
• To support with personal and business errands during quieter periods

Person Requirements:

• Hold a valid UK PCO or PHV driving licence.
• 3+ years’ experience as a professional driver within a private setting or equivalent experience
• Be flexible with hours, and available for occasional evening events
• Exceptional time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £28,000.00 per year
