Job description
We are looking for a dynamic and flexible live-out housekeeper for a private household in Belgravia, London.
You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the household interiors to a high standard. Daily duties include making beds, cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as all living and dining areas.
This is a permanent, part-time position. You will be contracted to work 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Availability to work weekends and bank holidays when the principals are staying at the property is required, so flexibility is essential.
You will only be required to work when the principals or their guests are staying at the property (6–8 months per year). Whenever the property is unoccupied, you do not have to attend, but you will still be paid for your usual contracted hours.
The principals are looking for someone committed, hardworking, and discreet who can join their household on a long-term basis.
The ideal starting date is now, but it is flexible for the right candidate.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household, luxury hotel or a degree from a hotel school
- Fluency in English
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently with little supervision
DUTIES
- Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
- Laundry and closet organisation
- Rubbish and recycling management
- Managing stocks of cleaning products
- Pack and Unpack luggage before and after travel
- Greeting tradespeople and contractors
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: From £18.00 per hour
