Housekeeper/Cook with ad hoc childcare responsibilities
I am looking for ideally 3 days per week - 4-6 hours per day, but would be happy to work around the right candidate. Once a week the finish time would be 6pm as it is important that my daughter gets to know the candidate as overnight stays may be required on occasion.
My daughter and I are looking for a child friendly housekeeper/cook to help us out day-to-day. Responsibilities would include keeping the house clean and tidy, general clothes washing and cupboard management. You would be responsible for the weekly shopping, which we do online and cooking healthy, nutritious dinners (following a menu).
We also have a beautiful Bernese Mountain dog who would need a 30min daily walk.
The ideal candidate would also have the added flexibility of being willing to stay overnight on an ad hoc basis when I travel to London. I would be happy to cap this to a maximum of 4 times per month (it is usually less than this however). There would be ample advance warning of any overnight stays and there is a private bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor.
We would be looking for someone organised as I am often travelling and need to be confident that someone has everything at home in hand!
Someone child friendly is a must, particularly when travelling and I need the overnight assistance. Someone fun loving and outgoing would be wonderful.
The ideal candidate would have their own transport for school pick up/drop off when I am away.
