We are excited to announce the position of Privacy Intern; this placement is specifically designed for students interested in the evolving Privacy industry. This role has a European focus and will work with our corporately owned entities across the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, and Spain as well as liaise with our Legal, Security, Risk, Procurement, and other teams based in Europe and in the United States.
The Privacy team is responsible for looking after our customer’s and employee’s data, and ensuring that we are living up to our Privacy Principles (Respect, Clarity, Choice, Access, Security). You will be working on a range of business focused tasks which include but not limited to Access Requests, Privacy Assessments, Risk Management, Reporting, and Incident Handling.
This opportunity is based at Enterprise Holdings European Head Office in Egham, Surrey.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date on Privacy Regulations and Requirements.
- Assist the Privacy Team with day-to-day activities, including Data Subject Access Requests, Deletion Requests, Incident Handling, etc…
- Prepare Documentation and Reports for use by EHI internal stakeholders
- Assist with privacy and risk assessments as deemed necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Information Security, Risk, Procurement, and our Operational Teams.
- As assigned, participate in various Privacy related projects
- Adhere to standards and follow documented procedures
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and end users
- Assist with metric reporting and process improvement
Qualifications
- Must be a current university student looking to undertake an industrial placement year
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality
- Ability to prioritise work and meet timelines
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined

- Hours: 40 per week
- Salary: £20,000 per annum
