The salary for this permanent Principal Psychologist job is £55,000 per annum.

Main Duties:
- You will provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to the MDT team and ward.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day psychology support. To ensure a high standard of evidence-based psychology care is consistently delivered to patients.
- To ensure that a safe, cost effective service is provided.
- To act as a role model and patient advocate, ensuring a positive patient experience for all.
- To be responsible for Information Governance standards.
- Promote good relationships with patient, relatives, public, other care organisations and all members of the multidisciplinary care team
- To ensure audit compliance (CQC).
- To carry out clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologist.
- Promote good communication skills written and verbally.
Requirements of the Principal Psychologist:
- Qualified Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years experience in working in mental health services
- Strong focus on service development, service evaluation, providing psychological consultation, expert opinion, cascading psychological thinking, developing and delivering teaching, training and group work
- Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays
