The Opportunity

The role is primarily focused on regulated markets (particularly Rail, Transport, Water and Energy), delivering services associated with Assets and Operations. This will include work with both Public Sector clients (governments, owner/operators, developers, delivery bodies) and Private Sector (Investors, Owner/Operators)

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams, typically comprising a mix of other competences from within Advisory and from across other Arup skills networks, including Foresight, Ventures, Organisational Development, Sustainability and Social Value. Travel to and from client sites /or temporary assignments to client’s offices may be required. There will be opportunities for international travel.

The role is focused on winning and delivering strategic advice across one or more of the following subjects:

  • Strategy & Implementation.
  • Asset Management
  • Operational Excellence
  • Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition
  • Re-purposing

Is this role right for you?

  • You will have experience of delivering strategic advice on one or more aspects of the following activities in the regulated/asset sectors: strategy and implementation, asset management, operational excellence, operational readiness.
  • You have experience working in a leading consultancy firm, investor or developer.
  • You will have working knowledge of appropriate management tools, methodologies, products and management techniques to develop approaches to solving client problems and management of others to deliver the scope of work.
  • You have good commercial awareness of a client’s business drivers and their operating environment
