Primary School Classroom Assistant - Slough

Are you looking to support children as an Primary School Classroom Assistant? Have previous experience working with children?

If so, we are recruiting for a Primary School Classroom Assistant to work within a fantastic Primary School, located in the Slough borough. This is a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 4pm.

No previous experience working in a school required as a Primary School Classroom Assistant, provided that you have a passion for working with children and have worked with children in some capacity and can provide a reference relating to this role!

The School:

• The school celebrate each child's unique abilities and achievements in a creative and supportive environment
• The school provides support to children with severe and profound learning difficulties
• The school caters for children from 3 to 11 years

The role:

• Support students with special needs on a 1:1 basis
• Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
• Willing to complete training on how best to support students with SEN as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a Primary School Classroom Assistant

Requirements:

• Available full time from Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
• Passion for working with children and/or young adults as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Live local to Slough or within a commutable distance
