To support the Primary Care Manager and Assistant Primary Care manager in the management of the Community Optometry Practices and Community Pharmacies contracted to deliver services for the population of Ayrshire and Arran to ensure that services are delivered to patients and that practices comply with contractual requirements.
You will support the Primary Care Pharmacy & Optometry Management team to provide a consistent and accessible point of contact for Optometrists and Pharmacists and their staff operating in Ayrshire and Arran and in doing so offer appropriate support to facilitate and improve delivery of services to their patients.
You will be required to provide key administrative support in relation to the provision of General Ophthalmic and Community Pharmacy Services including processing listing applications for Opticians for inclusion in the Boards Ophthalmic List.
You will have a lead admin role in supporting the Primary Care Pharmacy & Optometry Management Team in identifying new optometry services. In addition the post holder will provide a dedicated admin role in supporting the Assistant Primary Care Manager in processing applications for proposed new community pharmacies, change of ownership and relocations.
