Your New Role
Are you a utilities professional looking for a new and exciting challenge? Are you fuelled by determination and driven to succeed?
We are currently recruiting for a pricing analyst to join us in our Brierley Hill office on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Product Owner, you will work as part of the pricing team and you will serve a critical link between our water suppliers and clients.
You as the Pricing analyst will be responsible for ensuring good administrative support is given to allow for the smooth running of the water team and all enquiries relating to the pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide daily support to our senior account managers and group product owner
- Respond to any enquiries in a timely manner, escalating when necessary to the appropriate person
- Requesting supplier quotes and preparing the price comparisons for senior account managers
- You will provide end-to-end support with the pricing and reporting functions for commercial and property management divisions
- Deliver administrative and analytical support to our water team as well as the wider Sales and Operations departments
- Support the water team in the management of all water supplier relationships for the Company
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Pricing experience
- Experience of working to timescales
- Experience working as part of a team and by yourself to deliver different aspects of work
- Experience in liaising with people at different levels in organisations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and plan your work to align with business objectives
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to reduce complex information into easy-to-understand summaries for our customers, suppliers and staff
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of the utilities industry and the challenges businesses face in procuring these products & services
- Experience working within a fast-paced and high-growth organisation
- Advanced MS Excel skills with extensive practical experience
- Competent negotiator
