Title: Pricing Analyst
Location: Flexible
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm (some flexibility required)
An opportunity has arisen for a pricing analyst to join the Pricing team to support:
- The Head of pricing in delivering pricing related strategic and tactical projects
- The pricing team to prepare panel, transaction and solution based pricing proposals
- Development of financial analysis to assist with key pricing projects and deliverables
- Matter management, supporting the end to end process in terms of pricing and client profitability reviews
- Pricing of matters, RFPs, technologies and delivery solutions
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Support development and delivery of pricing related projects.
- Assistance with the annual rate review.
- Monitor firm’s adherence to pricing governance and promotion of best practice.
- Undertake financial modelling and scenario analysis to support pricing of new deals.
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc financial reports to support better pricing decisions.
- Support on post completion reviews in relation to matter profitability.
- Other ad hoc project support as required.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level preferable.
- Part qualified / qualified accountant desirable.
- Project management or Six sigma / Lean qualified desirable.
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years in a similar pricing and/or commercial environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience of working with varied and cross-functional teams, including bid teams / BD, Finance and Client Partners.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills desirable.
- PowerBI and tableau working knowledge would be an advantage.
Key Skills:
- Experience within legal or professional services sectors preferable.
- Well organised, strong attention to detail and good planning and time management.
- High level of computer literacy, MS Excel modelling capability essential.
- Good communication stills both written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal skills – diplomatic, can do attitude.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

- Highly organised with a structured approach to the delivery of projects.
- A natural team player with the willingness to be involved beyond the formal job remit.
- Analytical and commercial in approach.
- Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive outlook.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when needed.
