Performance Marketing World is looking for a new Premium Content Editor to work alongside the brand leadership team. Haymarket Business Media is focused on paid content revenue growth and this role which ensures a flow of deeply engaging premium content for our paying users is therefore vital to the brand's growth over the next 5 years. The role provides a lot of autonomy, and will suit an experienced journalist, who enjoys the creative process of developing new in-depth reports and project managing the existing 'editorial highlights' within our annual calendar.
Role Summary
To work with the Editor to create and run a programme of content that makes up the core of the premium Information and Knowledge subscription tiers, this includes new product development. This individual will be expected to project manage the delivery of all content and products that drive our Information and Knowledge subscription tiers. This includes an annual Workforce and Salary Survey report, Regulation Tracker, PMW Global Agency Rankings, and in-depth ‘Playbooks’ that form part of the Knowledge and Information tiers. This person will also ensure that the content delivered within the Knowledge and Information tiers is of the highest quality and value.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
To be accountable editorially for the delivery of our most valuable subscription-based content
To work with the Senior Brand Marketing team and the Business Director of PMW to ensure the content included within the Knowledge subs tiers is reviewed, developed and consistently offers value and insight for our most valued readers
To use industry knowledge and editorial acumen to spot new ideas for in-depth reports that can be added to the Knowledge tier subscription offering
To write a regular column, at least once per month
To write and commission regular features and analysis, including making use of PMW and industry data (IAB, WARC, IPA, DMA etc…)
To take charge of the bulletin for Knowledge and Information subscribers, to launch on a fortnightly basis
To project manage key reports such as ‘PMW Global Agency Rankings’ the Workforce report and Best Places to Work, ensuring smooth development of these products each year.
To develop new high value content ideas for inclusion within our Knowledge Subs offering
The post holder will be responsible for writing the PMW AI Quarterly Global forecast report appropriate for inclusion in the Knowledge subscription tier.
To work with the global PMW content teams to ensure that all Knowledge tier content is of value to all audiences
To build relationships with key information providers that can assist and support the development of the high value content for the Knowledge tier
To work with the IT and web development team to build new data platforms on the PMW site and regularly maintain and data content products
KPIS will be set around subscription and registration growth each quarter.
Report to the Editor weekly on audience metrics, new registered users, bulletin engagement rates and paid subscribers.
Advise the editorial team on how to apply audience data insights to PMWs coverage
To provide cover for other editorial teams during absences, including the Editor, Multimedia Editor and Reporter.
To ensure the brand achieves its annual audience engagement targets
