PayComplete provides software, hardware and services for cash handling, payments, and self-service transaction solutions to thousands of enterprise customers throughout the world.
Our technology enables customers in retail, transportation, banking, vending and cash centers to automate their cash handling, provide a single platform for unified payments, and present their end consumers with tailored self-service applications. Central to everything we do are our IoT transaction platform (Connect-On-Device, COD) and SaaS cloud platform (Connect) which manage our devices and the transactions processed on those devices.
The Role
Support the sales team through its sales strategies to assist in attracting new clients.
The Incumbent will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for their sales team to be successful. They will analyse the market, run focus groups, and craft pitches for Sales Consultants to use in the field.
The incumbent will act as a technical sales support for sales team throughout the entire sales process, supporting the effective presentation of the broad range of hardware and software solutions used to create a coherent solution to the end client.
Managing interactions with technical customers and demonstrating API’s scripts and Integration software
Being accountable for all technical requirements gathering in a format ready to be handed over to development and engineering teams.
An excellent collaborators and top-notch communicators to support their significant interaction with customers and the sales team, supported by strong technical knowledge and experience within the Retail, hospitality or Public Transport sector (fare collection, parking etc)
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse potential markets before product launch - The Solution Engineer is responsible for analysing market data to determine the ideal customer for a given product.
- Craft sales pitches for the sales team - Using their knowledge of the market, product and sales expertise, craft sales pitches for their sales team. This duty also involves presenting sales pitches to the decision makers of a given campaign.
- Assist sales team in qualifying prospects - Help their sales team qualify leads by using their deep understanding of the product’s ideal customer pain points. This may include having the initial phone or digital contact with leads.
- Provide product knowledge support to sales team - Develop a deep product knowledge and understanding of the solutions and applications within the given market sector and assist in writing or supporting a sales pitch that highlights the product’s features and benefits.
- Demonstrations: Owns the demo systems and configuration by explaining how the product works in real detail; setting up the configuration for the different sales meetings; Train the sales team in order they can do simple demo’s; SEs do more in-depth demos (or for critical/big opportunities); But obviously Eng is ready for consultation in the background, or can step in when it gets too technical;
- Technical solution's: discuss with a technical buyer how to work with our dev portal, our APIs, DDK, SDK, etc.
- Light programming: web app development (Java script, HTML) and writing to APIs.
- Requirements gathering: document how to extend our core product (in a format ready to sign off and then on to Dev teams)
- Support the bid process by assisting the sales team with the creation of details bid submissions, including the provision of technical input and assistance in completion of tender documents; supporting and creating Return-on-Investment models and other sales support material as required.
- Participate In the creation of Strategy for the market sector. This will include working with the broader business – Leadership, Technical, Marketing etc - and contributing to strategy to ensure that nay created pitch is aligned with the marketing campaign.
- Attend meeting, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- Report and provide feedback to management and maintain an up-to-date client record history within the companies CRM system.

Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
