A growing practice with 35 staff you will be working with an interesting mixture of clients using cloud-based software including Xero, Quickbooks and Sage. Duties:
- Processing client records to draft accounts stage
- Completing file sections and cross-referencing schedules (using integrated CCH software).
- Finalizing jobs and undertaking related tax work
- Processing client records to draft VAT return.
- Complete VAT return form when checked.
- Communicate with client when VAT return is complete and submit to HMRC.
- Preparation of corporation tax returns and submission to HMRC.
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns, to include detailed capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property.
- Processing information on computerised tax software to produce returns and calculations
- Looking for tax planning opportunities.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous practice accounts experience is essential for this role
- Proven experience of working with a mixture of client accounts
- Use of various cloud based software
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
