03314 Accountant with Accountancy Practice Experience Chard £30,000 - £50,000 pa
Position: ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant
Location: Chard Office, permanent role
We are currently seeking an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant to join our team in Chard on a permanent basis. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing a range of accounting and tax services. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our clients' expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact on a day-to-day basis
- Provide accounting and tax services to clients, meeting their specific requirements
- Support Directors in delivering high-quality service to a diverse range of clients
- Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering their professional growth
Desired Attributes, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Qualified ACCA or ACA professional
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an accountancy practice
- Previous experience in managing a portfolio of clients is desired
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Outgoing, confident, and able to perform well under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and professionalism
- Proficient in Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
