About The Role
Are you creative? Do you love speaking to people and building relationships? Do you desire to run campaigns, gain press coverage, work with influencers and brands to build partnerships and attend industry events?
If the answer is yes then you are in the right place. We are looking for creative, enthusiastic and motivated PR Interns to join our team here at Identity Creates. Public Relations Intern Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Director of PR and Communications across different projects and clients to deliver campaigns, press, partnerships and events
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, influencers, brands, stakeholders and relevant people within the industry
- Writing press releases and media communications
- Managing email communications externally and internally
- Working with the Director of PR and Communications to create strategies that influence public opinion, promote products, ideas, and the services of our clients
- Keeping up to date with trends and what’s relevant in the industry
- Assisting with events such as product launches, pop-up events, photoshoots etc.
- Contacting the press and media for features
- Contacting companies and brands for partnership and sponsorship opportunities
- Assiting with other creative project as directed
Public Relations Intern Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with people, brands and influencers
- Ability to pitch to the media
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically
- Ability to deliver measurable results and meet objectives
- Ability to show initiative as well as good management of time and workload
- Inquisitive with great follow-up and reporting skills
- Creativity in securing coverage and buzz with traditional outlets, blogs and social media
- Understanding of social media and influencer marketing
- Quick and enthusiastic learner and an ability to have fun!

Hours and Pay:
- 3 Months with the oppotunity to be kept on a paid role
- Part-time role, 20 hours a week (3 days a week)
