Job Purpose
The job purpose is to:
- Market Wycombe Food Hub (WFH) and Bobkins Bazaar;
- Create and manage all internal and external marketing communications;
- Monitor and deliver the WFH PR strategies;
- Manage the delivery and implementation of all fundraising activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
1. To provide effective, strategic marketing leadership for the organisation in collaboration with the General Manager (GM), to drive forward transformational integrated marketing activities and campaigns, helping to ensure increased take up of our services and increasing our profile.
2. To create and take ownership of the WFH Marketing Plan, reviewing and updating the Plan regularly.
3. To manage and develop consistent branding, fundraising and communication materials across the organisation.
4. To increase reach, stakeholder engagement, income and advocacy, to foster long term supporters, volunteers and growth.
5. To drive the WFH digital strategy, managing and maintaining the WFH website and social media content.
6. To manage and coordinate all internal and external communications, using EPOS,
Mailchimp and other marketing automation systems.
7. To work closely with management team on in-store marketing, product ranges and pricing strategies.
8. To provide analysis and report key data to the General Manager and the Board of
Directors.
Fundraising and Donor Delivery and Implementation
9. To review, develop, implement and manage the WFH fundraising strategy, recognising the special relationship with fundraisers and donors, to generate a strong case for support, for donors and supporters.
10. To develop a portfolio of individual giving and Donors (including in-memoriam gifts, regular giving and legacies), establishing and maintaining a marketing programme for each area.
11. To provide guidance and leadership on events and fundraising in the community.
12. To manage the volunteer co-ordinators, such as the Volunteer Events Coordinator and Food Drive and Collection Tin Coordinator.
General
13. To ensure we are acting in compliance with Data Protection guidelines and GDPR.

Scope
The scope of the role includes:
- Ownership of the WFH Marketing Plan
- Marketing communications and PR for the Food Hub and Bobkins Bazaar;
- Oversight of all digital communications;
- Management of fundraising events and the volunteers who run those events.
It is expected that effort within the role will be allocated as follows:
- Internal marketing of the Food Hub and Bazaar (30%)
- Communications with Donors, stakeholders, supporters, and prospects (20%)
- Fundraising strategy and management (25%)
- Event strategy and management (25%)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Advanced skills in Adobe Professional or similar;
- Marketing automation skills and use of CRM;
- Digital marketing skills
- Able to follow written and verbal guidance and instructions;
- Dependable, reliable and able to work off your own initiative;
- A team player;
- Able to work unsupervised;
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Desirable:
- Degree in Marketing
Full training will be given to the successful applicant, as appropriate.

- Volunteers and staff working in the warehouse and shops;

- Other stakeholders and donors.

Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £15.00 per hour
