The Public Relations Specialist will oversee media and public relations for Sysdig and its open source projects. Driving awareness is a key company priority as Sysdig looks to disrupt the noisy cloud security market. The Public Relations Specialist will play a critical role in crafting Sysdig's story and managing how the company is viewed in the market.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive, end-to-end media and public relations strategies that increase brand awareness for Sysdig and its open source projects.
- Produce high-quality press releases, press kits, and other communications materials.
- With the Director of Corporate Communications, partners across the organization – from the CEO to security research – on identifying organic, rapid response, and trendjacking opportunities to gain media coverage.
- Manage inbound media requests and prepare spokespeople for media interviews.
- Lead award submission program.

The U.S. annual salary range for this full-time position is between $93,000 and $110,000/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate's work location, job-related skills, experience and education.
