Avaliable Job Today A multi-faceted venue in the heart of the city centre, boasting award-winning restaurants and wedding & banqueting suits along with guest bedrooms.

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for fantastic individuals to help us us liaise with clients and agencies to bring the best dining and entertainment experience for our Manchester Hall / Masons customers. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Our ideal candidate will be a confident people’s person, an organised and creative account holder, and a quick thinker with good written and verbal communication skills.

Social Media

  • Drive overall content strategy - develop the content plan for the business including content calendar and more detailed channel plans
  • To effectively plan content across all respective platforms including Instagram and Facebook
  • Create, build & grow a TikTok account
  • To post content and moderate appropriately, or where relevant
  • To cover social media for Manchester Hall and Masons
  • A proactive approach to start and join conversations
  • Bring imaginative ideas and use initiative
  • Manage influencer marketing across the business
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for senior leadership, with clear actionable takeaways and recommendations for growth
  • Develop a plan for weekly customer newsletters and blogs

PR

  • Create and issue press releases across all venues for upcoming events and highlights
  • Liaise with local and national press to ensure coverage of Manchester Hall
  • Work alongside third party, agencies to create content for the brand
  • Take control of onsite photo and content shoots with press

What to expect

  • Managing accounts on various social media platforms and the wider digital marketing industry that is continuously changing in the fast-paced hospitality sector
  • Office-based 9 am – 5.30 pm but flexible working patterns available

Ideal skills and abilities

  • A pro-active mindset, able to act and move an initiative forward with minimal guidance
  • Ability to work under pressure on several projects
  • Ideal candidate has understanding to run paid advertising across core social channels managing various budgets
  • Extensive experience in social media management and moderation, including social reporting tools
  • Proven ability to work alongside all teams within a company, to use social to represent all activity
  • Ability to self-manage own workload
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work is essential
