The role:
As PR & Media Brand Manager, you will nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and build and maintain the positive image of the Ramsay Brand and reputation. You will influence opinions and behaviours, both internally and externally through various communication and media channels.
What you will be doing:
- Developing regional, corporate and Brand PR plan. Managing PR strategies, content and campaigns
- Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivating new contacts within business and industry media
- Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public
- Preparing press releases and promotional material
- Working collaboratively with the Digital marketing team and Marketing partner executives, to ensure consistent voice and positioning of the value propositions
- Supporting local sites in identifying PR opportunities and events and co-ordinating public relations activities
- Tracking media coverage and maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends and making appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy
- Seeking opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship and advertising
- Providing regular reports and insight into Ramsay’s communications impact, coverage and audience engagement and monitoring trends to help shape messaging and strategy
- Addressing enquiries from the media and other parties
What you will bring:
You will have a proven track record of events planning and designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level and have built strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets with strong knowledge in managing media relations (online, broadcast and print).
As an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, you will also be able to demonstrate the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences across multiple channels.
